ways your church can help

donate

Life Choices is a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry supported by local, like-minded churches, individuals, and businesses. Churches can commit to a one-time gift or monthly support to assist Life Choices with the operating budget. Your church can provide the support to save unborn children this year.

event sponsorship

Churches can become acquainted to the ministry of Life Choices through sponsoring an event that raises funds and awareness for the center. Your church can be a ministry partner through underwriting the annual banquet, so Life Choices can raise more funds through donations since the expenses are paid. Your church can also sponsor a table or volunteer assistance at the event to introduce members to a ministry that provides hope and life to women and families in Poway.

baby bottle drive

Sponsor a baby bottle drive at your church by passing out baby bottles to your congregation and inviting them to support Life Choice’s mission through the monetary gift of filling their baby bottle. Baby bottles will be provided by Life Choices. Baby bottle drives are one of the primary sources of funding for Life Choice’s daily work and also educates your community to the pro-life mission of the Center.

giving tree

The Giving Tree is sponsored by a parish or business that chooses to showcase a tree holding tags with the needs of mothers and babies. Anyone can pick a tag from the tree, purchase the requested gift, and return the gift to their tree or Life Choices. This tree can be sponsored at any time during the year whether for a special event or holiday.

host a baby shower

The women of your church can support Life Choices by hosting a baby shower for a mother facing a crisis pregnancy who otherwise has no material or personal support in keeping her unborn child.

volunteer

Give a gift of your time. Life Choices needs co-laborers from the church. Church members or groups can donate their time for a few hours per month to volunteer for special projects or on a weekly basis to assist with administrative work, data entry, or more. Your efforts can save a life in Poway and transform a family forever.

The framework of the mission of Life Choices is based on the hope that Jesus Christ brings to all of us. Life Choices needs prayer support from your church. Because the staff and volunteers believe that every appointment is a divine appointment, pray for:

Wisdom to care for each client’s unique needs.
Minds and hearts of clients to transform.
Strength necessary to be effective.
Addition of new ministry supporters.
Encouragement of our staff and volunteers.
Pre-born babies to be saved.

ways your church can partner with Life Choices

refer a woman

When a woman reaches out to your church for assistance with an unexpected pregnancy or for post-abortion counseling, refer her to Life Choices. All of our services are free and confidential. Life Choices’ purpose is to treat women with respect, gentleness and concern while sharing the love of Christ to help her face life’s circumstances.

invite a speaker

Your church can learn more about Life Choices by inviting us to speak to your congregation, Bible Study group or Sunday School. The staff at Life Choices would be interested in spending Sanctity of Human Life Sunday or Mission Conferences with your congregation to present the mission and vision of the Center.
